The Antongil Bay area of north-east Madagascar has the largest rainforest coverage in all of Madagascar. The climate is generally warm year-round and quite different from the rest of the island due to the forests and winds. Almost every day in the area will have some sun and clouds; sunny days without clouds are rare. There is a varying amount of rain depending on the prevailing winds and even in the dry months you should be prepared for some rain every day, though it usually only lasts for a few minutes.
Seasonal weather in Antongil Bay is dictated by the prevailing winds:
Whenever you choose to visit, the forest will be ready for you to discover!
Please remember that the weather and animals don't follow a strict calendar and that each year will vary!
